Can I Mix EL34 tubes with 6L6 tubes in my Peavey 6534+?

I currently am running a Peavey 6534+ head through a Marshall 1960 Lead cab with a MXR 10 band EQ and BBE Sonic Stomp in the effects loop (in listed order) and playing an Ibanez S7320 with Dimarzio Dactivator 7's in it. The head comes stock with 4 EL34's. I am new to tubes and do not know much about them. I find that playing through the EL34's gives better tone to the amp, but the 6L6's have that low end that I love. Both of them have their advantages, and I am wondering if it Is possible to mix these two kinds of tubes in my head to harness what they both have to offer. What are my options? Once again, I am completely new to tubes, so If this is a ridiculous question, steer me in the right direction

Thanks in advance,
EDIT*

I would never go about this procedure my self, would get it done by a professional. I just want to know if It is something that can be done.

NNNNOOOOOOOOO !!!!

NEVER ever mix output tubes
dont even switch the amp. between the tubes,

My opinion is NEVER mess with output tubes,
you will probably blow the amp up, take out the tubes, and the transformers.

I've been playing for almost 50 years,
I have several old black face Fenders, and many tube amps.,
and I NEVER work on a tube amp
(Like old TV's, they have very HIGH voltages inside, and you can kill you self taking one apart)

I AM SERIOUS

Do you know what a capacitor is? (it can kill you)
then, let the pros fix that amp.

I am NOT trying to overdramatic

edit

Glad to hear that,
anyway, no you can not mix "types' of output tubes
The better the tubes match each other, the better and longer they last
