How to replace laptop LCD inverter board?
This tutorial should help you to solve the problem is that laptop LCD screen was dim. I'll explain as the inverters are of a laptop, but the tips are not aiming for some specific brands or models, they should work for most laptops.
Attention: Please make sure that the laptop can not connect to a power source, including the title = "laptop battery"> laptop battery and the title = "Laptop AC Adapter"> Laptop AC Adapter.
Problem: title = "HP Compaq NC6400 LCD Screen Panel ,14.1-inch LCD Monitor"> HP / Compaq NC6400 LCD screen is dark.
Solve You: Put the laptop to an external monitor. If the external monitor shows usually, then the problem is from one of these components: LCD backlight, Laptop inverter, LCD cable or video board. Further tests must be conducted to verify that component.

Open the cover to the laptop.
