Good amp for distortion pedals?
First of all I am torn between a Digitech Death Metal Pedal and a Digitech Metal Master Pedal. I've watched videos of the first and I think it sounds pretty badass. "amp around $100 " = practice amp.
Pairing a great distortion pedal to a practice amp is like putting high class rims on the wheels of a "smart car".
Hell, when the effect will likly cost more than the friggen amp!!, you need to re-examine your game plan.
Time to let go of the newb vision & save up $$$.
When you should reach about $400, THEN you'll be in a position to buy a worthwhile amp. Til then, you're like the guy who's contemplating buying gold-plated strings to put on his no-name, $50 pawn shop guitar.
