5 Tips For Getting Your Direct Mail Envelopes Open
Your direct mail success can easily be improved simply by changing your envelope design. Your envelope is the first thing that your prospect sees so it's very important that it entices them open it.

1) Teaser copy on the outside of the envelope
Using teaser copy on the outside of your envelope entices your recipients to learn more. It will raise their curiosity and as a result they will open your letters. If your letter doesn't get opened, then you don't have success. So this is the purpose of the teaser copy - to get the letter opened.
2) Spend more time on effective teaser copy
If you use the teaser copy technique, then you should spend just enough time for the teaser copy of the envelope as you do for your sales letter. If you do, you will find yourself with more orders from your direct mail mailings just from more letters getting opened alone.
3) Send a blank envelope
This is another great technique to do. You want to send an envelope with your return address and the prospects address with a real live stamp. And that's it. i already have a wah, distortion and overdrive but i was thinking about either reverb, delay, a compressor or an envelope filter. what would you recommend. i play classic rock and modern.
