All About Embroidered Loops
Loops are extremely pervasive in stitching, knitting and crocheting. Jackets can also be given an effective and fashionable look by adding loop detailing to its edges. Some garments may also use an embroidered loop shape for decorative purposes. Loop stitch is a good stitch to use for small and detailed embroidery. Many companies that offer garments customized with stitching will use stitching like this. They may offer garment patches made from embroidered loop stitch, such as sports team logos, emblems like leaves and flowers, emblems for associations, and the logos of educational institutions. They also use loop stitch to embroider directly onto garments, as it provides a high level of detailing that is ideal for intricate stitching such as lettering and details on logos and emblems.
It is also common to see garments using embroidered loop lettering. This lettering is most common on sports jerseys, particularly for basketball. Players' names and position numbers are stitched onto their sports jerseys in this looping style of lettering, to give a stylized and striking look to the lettering. All professional players use this style of lettering to personalize their jerseys, so that they can be easily identified by spectators when they are in play on the field.

Can I switch between my Marshall's preamp & a Line6 Pod by using the power amp insert on the effects loop?
I want to use the Marshall's power amp while switching between the Marshall DSL's pre amp and a Line 6 Pod. Can i somehow use a a/b switch before running the signal into my effects loop?
I've never tried this, but there's not reason it shouldn't work.
PRE Out --> Input A on switch
Line 6 Out --> Input B on switch
Switch Out --> Power amp in (or FX return, whatever it's called).
You'll just need to take some time to balance the relative levels between the Marshall preamp output and the POD.
