Packing Tips for All Types of Belongings at Home
There would always be a little damage when you are relocating and packing all of your belongings. Even when you take help of a professional company, there would always be a possibility of some of your belongings getting damaged. However, with the right skills and a little care, it is possible to avoid all the damage and ensure that everything is packed the right way so that nothing would be damaged. The tips given below will help you ensure that all types of belongings are packed right.
The Large Items:
* When you are packing large beds, first tie up the bed frames with rope and then tape them.
* All the fragile belongings must be wrapped with clothes and put in the drawers of your furniture. Cover them up with blankets and then tie a rope around it.
* Remove the table legs, pad them and then tie them all. The bolts and the nuts should all be in a different bag and should be taped under your table.
* Empty all the items from your refrigerator and defrost it. Clean it from inside and place the accessories in a separate bag. Place towels between any movable parts in your dishwasher or refrigerator.
* When you pack computers, televisions or other electronics, try to use the original boxes if you still have them. If not, purchase new boxes.
The Smaller Items:
* When packing electronic appliances that are smaller in size like the microwave or VCR, place them in different boxes and use some type of cushioning like wadded paper.
* Use small cartons for the books and do not pack them more than 30 lbs.
* Use the wardrobe boxes for items like clothes and drapes and hang them inside. Keep the smaller clothing items in their drawers.
* The fragile belongings should be wrapped properly using bubble wrap and should be taped for security.
* Use newspapers to cushion the CD stands when you place them in boxes.
* The kitchen items which you would need immediately must be kept in a different box with an appropriate label on top.
* The dishes must not be stacked flat. Wrap each of them individually using bubble wrap.
The Awkward Shaped Items:
* Packing items with an awkward shape would be a little tough. Wrap the arms, legs of chairs using bubble wrap and place chair bags or slipcovers over the seat.
* Cover the chains, pedals and seat of bicycles, turn the handlebar sideways.
* Small items like mirrors or artwork must be wrapped with newspaper and should be packed in the small mirror box. Use can also cover them with cardboard and secure them with tape.
* Disassemble all furniture in the lawn, place bolts and nuts is a bag and keep it safe.
* The rugs must be rolled, tied with rope or tape.
* plants must be watered, place them in bags with air holes and then inside a box.
* Any sharp tools must be packed with a lot of cushion and wrapping material.
* Remove fuel from the lawnmower tanks before they are packed.
* Use boxes of medium size for the items in garage or attic. Do not pack anything that is combustible.
These are simple but very effective tips that can make packing easy for all types of items.

what injuries have you gotten?
i have injured myself three times. first i sprained my ankle riding down a hill on my bike and my foot slipped off the pedal and the pedal made contact with my foot and bam it hurt like a you know, it took 3 weeks to heal. second was when i ran cross country when i was in 9th grade i pulled the left side of my groin muscles while running a race it took 2 weeks to heal. my last injury occurred two months ago i was doing to many situps one day and my lower left side of my abs muscle got pulled. it took 7 weeks to heal cause i still had to run track and that prolonged my recovery and i lost my beautiful 6 pack abs cause of it. so all i want you guys to do is to name your injuries, explain what happened, how long it took you to recover from this injury and how it effected you. thanks!!!
I've broken a bone in my toe, sprained my ankle twice, sprained my wrist, tore my Achilles tendon, and strained my Achilles tendon. When i broke my toe i also sprained my ankle at the same time. This happened when i did a cartwheel on a balance beam wrong. It took about 4 weeks to heal. The second time a sprained my ankle was when i was dancing and i did a turn wrong. This was my latest injury so i'm still in the healing process. I sprained my wrist when my sister pushed me off a bed. I had to wear a wrist brace for 2 weeks. I tore my Achilles tendon the same time when i was dancing so i'm still currently in the healing process. When i strained my Achilles i was running for to long and i over stretched the tendon. It took about 2 weeks to heal. These injuries didn't really effect me but my current ones are having an effect on my gymnastics training.
