where should I buy a Fender Jaguar Bass, where should I purchase it?
Does anyone know a place where I could uy one, either 1st or 2nd hand (must e good condition)??
I would also like to buy:
a Marshall 150 Amplifier
an Electro Harmonix Big Muff USA
a BOSS O.B.D-3 Bass Overdrive
I am also wondering if I would be able to have both the Big Muff and the Overdrive connected to the amp at the same time. It has an FX send and FX return
(you can tell this would be my first amp with the capabilites to have pedals)
Please do not answer EBay ect.
Many Thanks in advance
Sorry, that is the Marshall B150 amp
my Keyboard is dodgy (I am at school) - someone broke it for me. lol
I am in the UK
Are you in the UK?
The Fender Jaguar bass is pretty common so I reckon you'll find a shop that stocks them near you. Same with the Marshall. It's always advisable to have a go on a guitar before you buy. You often find that a guitar doesn't live up to your expectations when you actually play it. Also, its not uncommon to try 2 indentical guitars and find that one plays an awful ot better than the other.
As for the FX, yes. Stick what you want on it. Experiment. Try inline from guitar to amp as well as the FX loop. What sounds bloody awful to me might be just what you're looking for and vice versa.
I got my Marshall from Flying Pig Music by mail order. Really good shop, good prices, dunno if they're still going though.
