How do you drop the tuning on my guitar using an electronic tuner?

Tune it as you normally would using the electric tuner.
And then If your tuner has notes on it, tune the top string to a D. If not then you are just dropping the top note a FULL Step. From an E to a D. Each fret is a half step.
So when you are tuning manually you play the fifth fret on the upper string and open and the one below and tune them until they match pitch. In this case play the 7th Fret on the very top string and tune it to pitch on the string below.(This will give you the D) Also tune it open to the third string as the third string is a D as well(only an Octave higher)
