What is the best Guitar Amp and Effects for Rock Music?
I am looking to upgrade my gear, right now I am using a Les Paul Guitar, with Line 6 Gear, I am satisfied with my guitar, but want a new amp and effects. I am looking for suggestions on a combo or stack amp around $600-800, and for effects I am open to any suggestions, would like to switch from my line 6 fbv shortboard, to a new setup, visual sound pedals? with line 6 delay, cry baby wah, ernie ball volume? Suggestions please
some of the standard rock amps are Marshalls, Mesa Tripple Rectifier, and maybe a Peavy 5150.
If you're budget is that low, I'd suggest a Marshall valve combo. Anything less than 2 12's and 50 watts is not worth your time.
If you're still havn't found a signiture tone for your playing style, stick with Line 6. Find a used Flextone or Flextone 2 combo. Massive volume and realistic tone. I use the Pod Pro in my studio.
