Hey, would you pay almost nothing for my music on Fuzz.com? I write very interesting music!?
Check out my simple 4 string acoustic sound. It's a typical 6 string acoustic with 2 strings removed- the D ( 4th string from the floor), and the High E ( 1st string closest to the floor). Then I tune the remaining strings F#,C#,C#,F#...in theory this is a fifth going down and a fifth coming up while strumming. The downward strum is a full sounding root-unison 5th-octave, which in reality is neither major nor minor . In fact that's what makes it such a valuable composition tool. This means that wherever my voice wants to go my tendency to fret will follow. Interestingly enough though, it is a tuning that allows spontanious creation of melodies.
I'm like most guitar players who have been at it for years- I learned the traditional approach and played successfully in this way for years. I played in bands and I also play piano and organ. In fact one of my songs is on piano on this little compilation of songs I've recorded. I hope to get better recordings if I can sell enough on fuzz.
