What's a theme in both the Picture of Dorian Gray and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde?
I was thinking of the duality of the human condition, but that seems more Jekyll and Hyde based. Any ideas?
my own thought is more of the How the reality is very different than the 'picture' of the charactor in the public eye.
In dr j& mr h - Dr J is the public personna but Mr.H is his reality
in Dorian - the public sees Dorian but his reality is IN the Picture
so i think you are on the right track of the Duality of Humans - its just a bit varied on how its presented.
