What is a good compressor/sustain for guitar?
I need one that doesnt suck tone. i know for a fact that the boss, and the soul preacher ehx pedal suck big time. i was looking for something simular to the fuchs royal plus or the keeley two knob without the price tag.
The MXR Dyna-Comp is, in my opinion, about the best sounding stomp box compressor out there for under $100. Eric Johnson is using one on his pedal board now, and his obsession with tone is legendary around here.
Most stomp box compressors are going to have an effect on your tone. It takes a little bit of money to make them sound transparent.
