I just bought a 12V multi adapter for my car so i can use the lighter and plug something in. ?
My car did not come with a lighter already. Where can i buy a cigarette lighter that will fit into this new socket?
Do not use a cigarette lighter in that adapter. It will burn it up and melt it. It is not made for that purpose, just a power source only! The ones mounted inside the dash have metal surrounding them for the heat.
