What is the best octave down pedal to use with a bass guitar?

I play melodies on the upper part of the register and am looking for a cleaner fuzz sound with the octave down instead of the synthy glitchy sound I've found with most octave downs. Any suggestions?

The POG2 is your best bet. Boss OC-3 is great too and about $200 cheaper. It is not as customizable though. Also check out Electro-harmonix electro multiplexer. Its cheap and sounds good. I believe sweetwater.com or guitarcenter.com has some of these.
