The Fender Stratocaster is not only a great guitar to play for advanced guitarists, but it is also perfect for beginners. In contrast to guitars that are equipped with humbuckers, the Strat's sound gets 100% clean if you put down the volume control to four or less in spite of using a hard rock overdrive-sound. And yes, you can even generate heavy rock and heavy metal sounds with a Fender, and it's easier than most people think.
So, all in all a Fender Stratocaster is the perfect guitar to have for both beginners and pros as it offers a maximum of enjoyment of playing, no matter what sound or what style you're playing, and it's a guitar which to play you will never grow weary of!
