What is the best all around (price cant be too high) delay FX pedal for the electric guitar?
Ive only been playing for a year so im a beginner, but i still want a good pedal.
Simple delay is an easy thing to do. I would think any pedal would be fine.
People shop for delay pedals based on features. The Boss super duper delay has really good presets and reverse delay and then there are stereo delays. The guitarist for Coldplay uses stereo delays that are set at different delay times, so if you want that, get the ability to do that.
You want that because delay can be used to create stereo, and also stereo delay helps make the delay sound better. I don't use delays much because things get muddy if you play fast, and a stereo delay can help help reduce the muddiness.
And there is some high end analong delay emulation which I think is rather pointless.
