About the Author
Timer switch for bathroom fan?
I have dual switch in bathroom (fan/light) and would like to add timer function to the fan only (so it can turn off after 30 minutes or so). I know there are timers for this, but none that I've see have two switches. Besides I don't want light to be on timer. I also don't want to cut extra whole for second switch. Is there a solution for me?

If you have the time you can order one, but extending the hole and replacing your box with a dual box, allowing you to put in a separate switch and timer is not too difficult for someone with experience (ie: I've done this in about two hours) so if you can hire someone, if you don't feel comfortable, if shouldn't be too expensive.
Anyway, maybe the switch above could work for you as it's only $30.
